The environment and facilities were very nice, the accommodation was clean, and the setting is great for weddings; for vacation guests there is room for improvement. I appreciate the option to stay with a dog. The kitchen on the top floor is extremely small for the whole accommodation. The advertised soundproofing of the rooms does not match reality – every step can be heard in the hallway, the coffee machine and the constant chatter of neighboring children were daily wake‑ups. The windows cannot be darkened, so waking up to light is unavoidable. The doors are thin and close with a very loud noise. The exterior equipment is damaged and worn (the grill is half‑broken, the football table is torn). We only saw the staff once during the week, so guest care was zero. The stove that was advertised as part of the amenities was installed a day after our arrival.

The location is great, pet friendly, and there are outdoor activities in the area (table tennis, badminton, playground…), the atmosphere is really good, and the small restaurant Hospudka u Zvonicky is very close. The manager seemed confused about which guests were assigned to which rooms. Instead of calmly checking the reservation details, she immediately spoke to us in a confrontational manner. Rather than verifying the booking, she blamed us, saying that room photos and descriptions can sometimes be incorrect. Although she later apologized, her attitude and the whole situation created a very poor first impression.

The renovated mill and the lovely garden were very nice, and it felt like a place for people to relax. There are many ways to spend time, and we didn’t manage to use them all. Even though there were many visitors, the person there had space to breathe and privacy.

The family‑friendly atmosphere in an old water mill is perfect for those who want to rest. The bathroom is dark, there is no lamp above the mirror, and shaving was barely possible.
