“A wonderful place to stay to enjoy town and the beach”

The spot right between town and the beach on the hilltop is perfect, and the room was comfy with amazing beach views; everything was spotless, the hot water worked well, and the staff were friendly. It was a fantastic stay.

The Niramaya Guest House Das Cottage is set up like many others: a room with a double bed, a fan, AC, a small fridge on a shelf, and a table. The wardrobe, full of hangers like in other places, was stuffy, so we avoided it. The Indian toilet is adequate, and the fan is very good. Two chairs were brought to us upon request so we could lay our clothes on them; there were no other places to store clothes, no hooks, for example. We also used the window bars and curtain rod as makeshift storage, which could be improved. We would definitely choose this place again. It’s very clean, the surroundings are quiet, and the terrace offers a nice view of Kudle Beach. We’d have liked a fan there too. The beach is just a few minutes away via a path. The price seems high compared to other nearby accommodations. Nearby is a simple restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner; the food is freshly prepared, so customer requests are well accommodated.

“Calm relaxing and meditative place with a wonderful view.”

The view of the beach is gorgeous and the houses are comfortable, with air conditioning and cleanliness. The surrounding garden is lovely and quiet. A short walk from the property is the great Little Buddha restaurant, which also has a beautiful view. The beach is close by. The reception staff are friendly, kind, and helpful, and they arranged a taxi for us from the airport right after we arrived.
