“non torneremo”

The highlight of the agriturismo is that the little apartment faces a small lawn with decent privacy, but during our stay we were the only guests, so we didn’t experience sharing the space under the porch and in the garden. For the first time we found only one roll of toilet paper already used in the house’s supplies for four days, no shower welcome kit, only liquid soap in the sink soap dish. Wi‑Fi was down the first day and then very slow. No trash bags, no salt (the owner kindly provided it when we arrived in the evening), no sugar, oil, etc. The fridge is tiny and lacks a shelf. The air conditioner (essential because the house gets very hot) is mounted on the wall next to the bed, forcing us to turn it off before sleeping and then wake up in the middle of the night to the heat. I believe a review of the hospitality quality is needed because, especially for short stays, it’s unreasonable to bring everything from home or repurchase everything. These types of accommodations usually aim to provide more comfort to make guests feel welcome, which we did not experience here.

The location, family‑friendly hospitality, and politeness were all to our liking, and everything else was satisfactory.
