The life around Etna was incredible. Sarah was very kind and welcoming. The access is via a steep dirt path, but it’s doable. Breakfast was very simple, even though the photos show a kitchen that you can’t actually use.

The host was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the view of Etna from the lovely terrace was magnificent. However, be careful of the steep path to reach the accommodation, and a bit more sound insulation would make it perfect, because you could easily hear the next room where the young girls were shouting.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was good, everything was clean. The access was horrible and gave us a bit of fear; the path is narrow and bad. They have a shared kitchen, but it lacks equipment—just a few dishes and nothing else.

The owner was extremely friendly and gave us plenty of tips about Taormina and the surrounding area. She even brought us a rainwater bottle for the whole stay. Nothing to complain about.
