Spacious and clean with a country vibe that makes you slow down. From Lisbon, the city is a two‑hour ride and about 20/30 minutes from other larger towns nearby. I would also suggest removing a few waxed animals from the walls; they add to the house’s history but aren’t neutral enough for the guest experience.

The house was in excellent condition, spotless, with a fantastic and incredibly spacious pool area. The décor was lovely, featuring very old pieces. The staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this house, especially for large groups. There is plenty of space for activities, and all equipment works perfectly, including the kitchen appliances.

This place is a real gem, steeped in history and absolutely beautiful. The pool is incredible, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious, and the whole atmosphere is so peaceful and lovely. It's a real treat to stay here.

What really stands out about this place is the tranquility of the surroundings, the historic and well-maintained atmosphere, and the kindness of the owner, D. Paula. The billiards table, the games, and the pool make for a great way to spend the whole week. It's a really special place.
