The location was fine if you want to be near the expat bars. The air‑conditioning was strong and quiet, and the bed wasn’t too bad. The daytime staff lady was lovely, and you can ask for daily cleaning, but it isn’t automatic. The room was old, mouldy, and not especially clean. Towels were threadbare, the bath was barely more than a scrap, with only a tiny piece of soap and a scrap of toilet paper. Overall, it was pretty awful.

I have stayed here before; the location is excellent, just a short walk to both the front and back beaches and close to many expat bars, and the suite is a large, comfortable room. The fridge had not been cleaned and still contained sauces and food from the previous guest, and while I usually head out for coffee in the morning, the kettle was there but no tea or coffee; one of the coffee cups had a broken handle.

The location is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s a comfortable place to rest.

The location was fine and the front‑desk staff were friendly, but housekeeping fell short: during a four‑night stay we asked for the room to be serviced only once and they never changed the sheets or pillowcases.
