A quiet spot, really pleasant. Richmond itself has a lot of charm. No on‑site restaurant, but we ate nicely at Richmond café and rooms. The rooms are very roomy, well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. Secure parking and a large, well‑furnished communal kitchen are available. Rooms have reversible air‑conditioning and heated mattresses. The décor is old‑fashioned but tasteful. The bathrooms feel very cold this season; an extra heater would help, as would one in the kitchen. Otherwise everything was perfect. A larger table on the terrace for breakfast or dinner near the barbecue would be nice (units 7‑8).
