Nice, comfortable cabin in a very pretty setting close to amenities, surrounded by trees. It had a barbecue and a verandah. The railway and road are close by but you would hardly notice. The chairs around the table outside were quite heavy and a bit cramped. A bench with a lower table and two lighter chairs might be easier.

Lovely cabin, really well equipped kitchen which is rare in self catering places. It was clean and modern inside, and the area was mostly quiet. There is a small kids play area just in front of the cabin and you can see it from the porch, so nice to relax up there while the kids play. I didn't realise it was quite so close to a main road and train line, so it wasn't quite the woodland escape I was hoping for

Just a short walk into the centre of Aviemore, very quiet location. No welcome basket; I stayed in cheaper lodges and always had one. I would move the small coffee table because we all kept tripping over the hearth.

The place feels cozy yet spacious and very private, with a wood stove adding extra ambiance; the beds are super comfy and the cabin is fully equipped with everything you need. It was great to spend time on the veranda and there’s a parking spot right in front of the door. The shower was a bit tricky to set to the right temperature—it started boiling hot, then after a while it settled at a decent level. The trains passing behind the cabin were a bit noisy but didn’t really bother us.
