Breakfast was delicious, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our vegan requests. Overall, the people on site were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. The dinner deserves a highlight too, with a stunning sunset view from the terrace.

A great mix of convenience and privacy. Excellent service from Ranga and Dushan, among others. The room was clean and well furnished. The location is amazing: a clean pool, beach chairs right in front of the terrace (which itself is next to the beach), a clean, crowd‑free beach… there are too many great things to list. Above all, the people running the place are attentive, kind, and efficient. Ranga took us by tuk‑tuk to nearby sights and served as a knowledgeable guide. Dushan ensured our breakfasts and other meals were well taken care of and that we received everything we wanted. Huge thanks to the BBC team for making our stay so enjoyable!

The BBC was, by far, the most beautiful hotel on our three‑week Sri Lanka trip. The large, bright, stylish rooms impressed us immediately. We especially loved the spacious, well‑maintained bathroom with a light‑filled rain shower. Air‑conditioning was a definite plus; it was the only hotel on the whole trip where it was so well installed that we could sleep at night without a bothersome draft. The lovely pool and direct beach access also thrilled us. Dining at the on‑site restaurant was superb, and the entire staff provided first‑class service. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, making us feel completely comfortable.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bombay Bicycle Club Bentota. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their hospitality was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. They even offered tuk‑tuk lifts when needed, which was such a thoughtful touch and made getting around incredibly easy. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a charming boutique feel that sets it apart from larger resorts. Every area is tastefully decorated, creating a warm, stylish, and relaxing atmosphere. The attention to detail throughout the property is impressive. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and the level of cleanliness was outstanding. Incredible mattress, best one I’ve ever slept on. The food was also excellent, with delicious breakfasts, meals and great service every time. What really makes this place special is the combination of beautiful surroundings, fantastic facilities, and genuinely caring staff who make every guest feel valued. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel experience in Bentota with amazing service, lovely food, and a welcoming atmosphere, I couldn’t recommend Bombay Bicycle Club highly enough. I would happily stay here again and hope to return in the future.

The staff were helpful and friendly throughout the stay, the property was clean, the food was good, and the amenities were well maintained. The hotel could arrange complimentary tuk‑tuk rides for short trips nearby, which was a really convenient and made getting around much easier.
