A lovely couple ran a home‑style rental that worked well for a short, budget‑friendly stop. Negombo’s beach was littered with trash and plastic washed in by the tide, so it’s not a place to brag about. Still, if you want a cozy, inexpensive overnight spot, this place is solid. The owners swapped money for me and arranged transport, all while being very friendly and helpful.

The bed was super comfy and the room was huge with great lighting. The air conditioner is an extra charge.

The owners were genuinely nice and helpful. When we arrived, they pointed out a shortcut to the beach and we chatted pleasantly. It was a perfect final stop on our trip, and they even let us leave our bags there after checkout.

A warm welcome! The best value we found in Sri Lanka, ideal after a long journey. The location is on foot from restaurants and more. Privacy could improve; you have a private room and bathroom, but the only divider between them is a curtain.

The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We ran into issues with the shower not working; they came to fix it but couldn’t resolve it immediately, and we had to stay in because they didn’t have a spare key. It was frustrating, but it eventually got sorted. There is no Wi‑Fi.
