The location is really convenient, a stone’s throw from the sea, Teatro Kursaal, Bari Vecchia, and the train station. The surrounding neighborhood is lively and full of services. The room is large, airy, and features a spectacular preserved cobblestone floor. The décor is old‑fashioned (or antique, depending on how you look at it), not for everyone but it definitely has character. Communication was very good and fast via message, far less so on the phone. Wifi worked great. The ad was crystal clear about the shared bathroom between two rooms, which isn’t the most comfortable, especially because it’s poorly ventilated and tends to get damp quickly. The bed was large but the mattress felt a bit too soft for me. The building is old and charming, but it has some limitations due to its age; for example, there are few power outlets in inconvenient positions. My room faced a quiet street during the day but was extremely noisy at night because of nearby nightclubs. The online check‑in system didn’t work well, so I had to ask for help via WhatsApp (the phone had no response), and I received assistance almost immediately.
