The pool hours were convenient, the bathroom was nice, and the king bed was comfortable. The mattress on the pull‑out sofa could be better.

The staff accommodated my minor disabilities and moved me to a better room and location. The radio didn’t work, and even though there were many cable channels, it was impossible to find them through the channel guide; I had to manually search up and down, hope the info appeared, then remember the number to find it again. Ugh.

I first checked in a few months back and it was good enough that I keep coming back whenever I travel. But when I got my key, there was a guy sprawled on the bed, so I went back to the front desk and got another room. That room smelled awful and had two queen beds instead of the king I’d booked. I told the desk clerk, and he just said, “well they’re the same price anyway” and moved on.
