The service was absolutely first class, from the doorman to the receptionists to the restaurant waiters, all exceptional. Our lunch at the Savoy Grill was excellent—perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The room was slightly on the small side, but it was perfectly equipped.

The location and design were good. Two different staff members entered our room once while we were sleeping at night, even though a “do not disturb” sign was on the door, which had never happened before. The view from the room was horrible, nothing like I expected, looking into a shaft of the hotel.

The team was professional and always put guests first. However, the housekeeping arrived around 5pm to clean the suites, and the turn‑down service could be scheduled at any time after 5pm, which felt odd.

Every time I arrive, the warm and attentive staff greet me, the overall vibe is pleasant, the rooms look great, and the restaurants are good. The spot works perfectly for a trip to the opera and a visit to The National Gallery. I really enjoyed it.

Very good location, the bed was very comfy and room clean and well appointed. The first day room not cleaned by 4pm and confusing placard caused room to be uncleaned that day. The American bar isnt worth the cost of the drinks - grossly overpriced. We stay at Fairmonts all over the world and this one was sub-par
