“Une très bonne adresse à Tours”

The hotel is well‑situated in Tours, and as a one‑star property it offers quality and value that some higher‑rated places fail to match. Our room was clean and bright, the bed comfy and the bathroom well arranged. Breakfast was hearty with bread and pastries from a good baker. The welcome at check‑in and the next morning felt friendly and attentive. Still, the style of the messages sent via Booking and displayed in the rooms seemed a bit dull and could use a tweak.

The hotel is close to Tours’ hyper‑center, offers simple clean rooms, a breakfast with great value, and a very warm welcome. The water heater in the bathroom takes several minutes to warm up, though.

A small, tidy hotel with a very friendly young receptionist and the owner, Éric. The room is a bit small but stylishly decorated, with good bedding and lighting. The shower is a bit cramped, but everything is there. Breakfast is decent; remember to order it! It can be taken in the courtyard where two or three tables await. An important detail for the Loire bike route: there’s a closed shed that can hold 4/5 bikes.
