“Close to town, cute little place to stay for a quick getaway.”

The motel’s location was great and close to town; we arrived late on Thursday night and were given easy access to our room. The room was clean and nicely designed, but my partner found the bed uncomfortable. The window faced the street and I could hear cars passing by all night. We stayed until Sunday morning and there was no interaction from staff or owner. The wisteria on the back porch was beautiful.

“An easy, comfortable stay. Short drive into the town”

Very nice, well furnished, with a nice bed and bedding. The location is good and quiet even though it’s on Main Street. The shower over the bath had a problem: the water wet the floor quite a bit. The lounge area with a fireplace was lovely to sit and enjoy a wine, but it was cold that evening and it would have been nice to have the fire lit, as other couples agreed.

The room and gardens were beautiful, the king‑size bed very comfortable, and the location is convenient—just a 5‑minute walk from town. I was pleasantly surprised to find my room made up on my return on day 2 of a 2‑night stay. It was a bit strange not to see any staff around, but check‑in was easy. I couldn’t find matches to light the fire, which would have been lovely in the evenings. Overall, still a lovely getaway.

Comfortable room in a lovely old house looking onto a pretty garden. Very quiet. Pleasant stay but no interaction with anyone except friendly gardener
