The reception staff’s kindness and the quality of both the service and the restaurant’s food made our stay an excellent experience.
The location was convenient for reaching San Pio’s sites, yet the unmarked step into the bathroom, the rather narrow shower, and the lack of punctuality at breakfast and dinner were disappointing.
“À 65 euros la nuit, c’est une bonne affaire”
The hotel is decent, with an easy‑to‑reach parking lot and a large free parking area 200 m away, perfect for vans or pickups. The staff are pleasant and very welcoming, especially Michele who kept us well informed. The breakfast dining room is spacious, with tables numbered by room, set neatly and very clean, and the ambient music is nice. Staff are readily available to meet our requests. There are also outdoor terraces at the back of the hotel, with armchairs and a covered terrace. Breakfast, however, was a let‑down despite the charming restaurant setting and the large table. The charcuterie and cheese selection was thin: sliced cheese and rather fatty ham. The sandwiches were soft, far from artisanal, with pre‑sliced gray bread and no fresh Italian bread option. Coffee and cappuccino had to be made by yourself or ordered at the bar, incurring an extra charge. Croissant choices were also limited, with no cream croissants, for instance. Those who enjoy a savory lunch will likely be disappointed. The room furnishings were outdated, the shower cabin cramped and impractical, especially for tall or heavier men. Moreover, the towels were very thin, unlike the sponge‑like towels usually found in most hotels.
Cleanliness was spot on, but the shower felt a bit cramped.
Everything was fine, and everything was good.
