“Wunderbar”
Everything you expect from a good hostel, plus a great location and breakfast starting at 5 am for Alpenchallenge participants.
“Friendly staff and great breakfast”
The staff were super friendly and the breakfast buffet was exactly what I was hoping for. Everything felt spot‑on for me, so I couldn’t ask for more.
“Breakfast shines, dinner needs planning”
Breakfast gave great bang for the buck, really solid value. The only hitch was the dinner situation – you have to book it in advance, which can be a hassle depending on your schedule.
“Très bruyant, stricte minimum”
The service is impeccable, nothing to complain about. The rooms are okay, nothing amazing but they get the job done. However, it feels more like a summer camp than a hotel or backpacker hostel. There was an entire loud class (I can’t imagine how it must be during peak season). It’s a shame the common areas don’t have toilet towels; that’s the minimum for me.
“Good vibe, but extra costs bite”
The place nails the location – quiet, clean, with a nice outdoor area and a relaxed vibe, and the staff are genuinely kind. The downside is that you have to pay for parking even though it’s outside the town, and charging 3.50 CHF for hot water for tea feels like a rip‑off in a hostel.
