The staff were friendly and the air conditioning worked. The family made a lot of noise at the beginning and the end of the day.

The owner is kind. I asked him to rent a motorbike and five minutes later I had it—very nice. The air conditioner worked correctly. It’s a little dusty and the equipment is old. In the shower, the water heater wasn’t working properly, making it a bit difficult to have hot water continuously. The outside was medium.

Staying in the Tavern rooms was fantastic! The room was spacious, spotless, and the location was great—close to the tourist area but away from noise, and near many restaurants and the beach. The air conditioner, TV, and fridge all worked well. There was a table and chair, and a place to put your stuff. I could wash clothes and had an outdoor spot to hang them. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Each room had a convenient front porch. The only issue was the internet, which didn’t work very well. Sheilla, the host, was amazing—helpful, available, and kind. She can arrange tours at good prices and will take you there. The internet didn’t work very well.

The place sits close to many restaurants and makes it easy to catch a boat for diving, snorkeling, or island hopping, and the staff were genuinely friendly and kept texting me to see how I was doing. The room was simple, clean, and had good air‑conditioning, which worked well for a short stay, though the side road is dark and uneven at night, so you’ll have to walk a short distance back.
