The carving station was fantastic, the room was spotless with plenty of tea and coffee. The only downside was that I only stayed for one night.

We were greeted warmly, the location is great, the carving station is amazing, there’s plenty of parking, and the garden is a safe place for kids to play.

The George offered a wonderfully relaxed and comfortable stay, with staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful; I’d definitely recommend it for a couple of nights.

Controlled access was solid, and I didn’t bother with breakfast; the local towns were worth exploring and the variety was nice, though the beer on tap was a let‑down.
