The houseboat’s spot is fantastic, with a direct view of the Mosel, the vineyards, and passing ships, but the owners are slow or even unresponsive to requests, the boat needs repairs in some places, and the roof terrace definitely needs improvement.

The facilities were excellent, yet while the Mosel riverside is great, the land side surroundings are a bit underwhelming.

The view from the houseboat onto the water is gorgeous, and it’s a blissful experience to have breakfast or dine outdoors in such a setting; the owners were helpful with the TV and other things, and it was fun to stay on a houseboat, but there’s no umbrella or screen around the terrace railing, and on hot days (36 °C) it’s hard to keep the boat cool even with a portable air‑con or fan; the campground near the boat is fortunately tucked away at a corner of it.

“Eine Katastrophe”

The spot right on the Mosel is beautiful, but contrary to the description, there’s no air‑conditioning, no shade protection, no umbrella or sail, and on our 34 °C weekend it was unbearably hot in the boat; the panoramic windows on the south side have no blinds or curtains, and the neighboring four houseboats all have umbrellas except Lilly’s; the bio‑treatment plant on the boat stinks terribly, and the two Airwick odor‑neutralisers don’t help; the problem with the smell is known to the owners; the boat was clean inside but there were spider webs everywhere outside, especially on the vents that are usually left open to combat heat and odor, and we had several spiders in the boat that we kindly removed; the worst part was that the owners were unreachable for problems – they didn’t answer the phone, ignored our voicemail, and didn’t respond to chat inquiries; I’ve never experienced anything worse.

Hausboot eine tolle Sache grösse perfekt .Waren 2 Erwachsene 1 Kind. Innen sehr sauber Außenbereich voller Spinnen und Spinnenweben. Das schlimmste Beschreibung steht Klimaanlage die es aber nicht gibt . NUR ein Standventilator. Sonnensegel war defekt.das hat ein Kunde schon vor 3 Monaten in seiner Bewertung geschrieben. Bei den Temperaturen ein no go. Vermieter meldet sich trotz mehrmaligen Nachrichten auch von Booking com nicht oft auch telefonisch nicht. Solch ein Juwel und der wird nicht betreut. Ist ja preislich kein Schnäppchen. Keinerlei Beschreibung w lan oder TV. Bin Vielbucher bei booking kom sowas hatten wir noch nie. Booking com hat sich für uns auch sehr bemüht. Wenn wir allerdings jemanden am Telefon hatten war der Vermieter auch höflich und wollte uns entgegenkommen.Preislich das aber nicht passierte. Schade so kenne ich Service nicht
