The view from room Siracusa was fantastic, and the staff communication was excellent, always ready to fix any issues. Unfortunately, some guests in neighboring rooms were a bit noisy.
“Esperienza da non ripetere”
This place looks abandoned, with signs of neglect everywhere, no staff present, and we struggled to find anyone. The room was outrageously expensive for what it offered; the bathroom is so tiny that my legs touch the small bathtub in front. There was no service at all. The exterior was disappointing too, with cramped stairs and a small pool that looks larger in photos and is charged separately, plus dry plants and weeds everywhere.
Cleaning was very good and the laundry staff was fine. Too many stairs, no table and chairs on the balcony, the fridge didn’t cool properly, and we were three guests but only had two cups.
Room (Taormina) was clean and welcoming. A staff member didn’t answer my calls, tried to give me a different room than the one I booked, handed me the wrong entry code, and deleted my WhatsApp messages. Breakfast was supposed to be on request, but it wasn’t possible to have it on site because it was low season.
Overall, everything was phenomenal. The pool, the views, and the breakfast were fantastic. The location, though offering beautiful views, might be too far from everything.
