“Classy gem of hotel with wonderful restaurant and pier!”

Owners and staff were delightful and warm. Rooms were SO clean and thoughtfully laid out. Very pretty decor. We loved our stay. Pier was an added romantic scenic experience. Such a nice stay. It was perfect for us! The stair climb to room is noted by owners and that should be considered for people needing easier accessibility. But we are 60-somethings and even lugging luggage. it was so worth it when we arrived at room!

“a lovely one night stay.”

The location is amazing—the pier is just outside the doorstep, and the view is so fantastic it makes the stay truly worthwhile. I stayed for dinner and the food was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had, and the lovely woman who manages the property even offered me a piece of homemade cake to celebrate my birthday—a warm and touching gesture.

“Lovely staff, great sea views.”

The staff were genuinely lovely, helpful, and friendly, and the view was gorgeous. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. The room wasn’t fully ready upon arrival; it seemed a staff member had eaten there, and the duvet cover on the single bed was unclean. The staff resolved the issue quickly, which was great. However, the room felt a bit dated, the TV was small and hard to see from the beds. Overall, the room was fine, but I don’t think £400 for two nights is justified; breakfast should be included in the price.

“Uni drop off ideal location”

The location and view were great. Unfortunately, our room was very hot and both windows were broken, so we couldn’t open them, but the room was still very comfortable and the stay pleasant.
