The spot is great, but the breakfast was bland, lacking local items, the hotel needs some upkeep, parking for guests is pricey compared to nearby public lots, and room service arrives too late.

The rooms were nice and the bathroom was lovely, but the hotel feels like a maze and the walk to Porto is inconvenient; staying in the city proper would be better. The biggest gripe was the staff: they never offered the port wine glasses we saw on a tray, and it took a full 35 minutes to get our margarita and mocktail from the lobby bar. Pool service was awful, with waiters just hanging around instead of working. Overall, the hotel looked good and was comfortable, but the location and service left a lot to be desired.

Everything was fine: location, views, staff, cleanliness, breakfast, terraces, and pool. The only downside was the shower’s lack of privacy—it opened right next to the entrance without any visual or physical barrier.
