The hotel’s exterior feels a bit old‑fashioned, but the rooms are lovely, spacious, and have super comfortable beds. Towels weren’t always supplied when requested, and the bathroom had a small amount of mold that needs fixing. The toilet had a little green around the lid seal. The indoor pool and gym cost extra; I didn’t use them because swimming lessons for children limited the times. Towels for outside use required a €10 refundable deposit paid in cash daily. The entertainment team were fantastic, especially the Aqua class, which was great and the staff were friendly and fun. I only had breakfast and one evening meal, which was decent with a fair amount of choice. Walking distance to Lora Park was a bonus, and it wasn’t far from the centre with many shops, restaurants, and bars. The pool was very cold, but swimming was fine. There were no tables between sun loungers, which would have been handy for a drink. The bar staff were helpful and efficient, as were most of the hotel staff.
