The location was simply dreamy and the grounds absolutely gorgeous, so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Even with four of us sharing a room we never felt cramped. It poured constantly during our visit, yet the staff went out of their way to meet every special request. We could use the washing machine free of charge, and breakfast was decent with the kitchen accommodating our vegetarian needs; the coffee was genuinely excellent. A short walk on a dedicated sidewalk took us straight to the night market. I’d definitely book this hotel again. On the downside, the cleaning could have been more thorough, there were far too few places to hang clothes for four people, and the bathroom lacked towel hooks. The mattresses were rather soft, wobbling whenever someone turned over, and you really need mosquito spray in the breakfast room.

Staying far from the noisy crowds of Kenting let us enjoy the natural sounds a national park should offer, and the rooms were spotless, attractive and well‑kept. The staff greeted us warmly, and after a few years they still deliver the same high level of service, which deserves praise. The only drawback was the absence of a dryer; having one would have made things more convenient.

This place turned out to be a perfect spot to unwind on holiday, proving you don’t need an ocean‑view room in Kenting. After a day of water activities we loved retreating to the expansive green lawn – it was fantastic. The older kids especially enjoyed the large loft and even joked that the rainy, humid weather was a shame, yet the best memory for us was staying at Toscana!
