Good location, friendly reception staff, kettle and tea selection, good mattress, overall room equipment. The breakfast spread looked good from afar (we had already booked elsewhere in advance). The courtyard window let in a garlic smell from the kitchen, and the live music from an event was still going on at 1 am; both are a matter of luck, so not necessarily a problem.
