The owner was very friendly and kind, and he tried to communicate in limited English. Even though my language skills were poor and I didn’t fully understand, he made an effort to explain things clearly and gave thorough instructions before booking. He made guests feel at home. The hostel had the usual issue of some people making loud noises while sleeping, but that was a guest problem, not the accommodation.

Everything was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The space smelled fresh with no unpleasant odors. Even though I arrived around midnight, the host was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Very affordable and I really appreciated that! Nothing in particular bothered me; the place felt like a tidy guesthouse.

The host was super friendly, the interior was simple yet spotless, the woman's room looked brand‑new and I loved the tatami floor, and there was a kitchen ready for use. There's not much nearby and it's a bit far from the city center, but it's convenient for a trip to Gifu.
