The breakfast was excellent, and the room has a convenient private entrance. However, the lack of air‑conditioning makes the room hot and humid during the heat.

The Cavalier House B & B sits right in the heart of Hastings old town, and the private front door to our room let us come and go freely. Breakfast, served in the main house by the charming host Martina, was superb and made our two‑night stay memorable. Highly recommended.

Martina was an amazing host throughout the weekend, and the room and facilities were perfect. Breakfast set us up nicely for the day, and the banana bread was as others have said—amazing. I’ll definitely return, though I wish I could have stayed longer. The only downside was having to return to work.

Martina is a wonderful host who serves an exceptionally good full English breakfast, complete with HP sauce. She is kind and goes out of her way to give tips on the best spots around Hastings.
