The accommodation is very good, everything is clean and organized, and the hostel is practically in the heart of Caraíva. There’s a bakery nearby, and at night the bars are also close, plus it’s near the river and the sea.

The room came with a mini‑fridge and daily housekeeping was available. The lighting felt a bit weak, and the tap water was somewhat dark—though I’m not sure if that’s typical of Caraiva or just this place.

The spot is in a great location, the beds were comfy, the AC worked quietly, and there were plenty of power sockets; they even gave us liquid insect repellent and the host was quick to answer any questions, plus there’s a hammock with a little sofa at the entrance.
