I stayed near the sea in a pretty building that could use a bit of renovation while keeping its character, but it was a bit poorly maintained.

The location was super central and right on the waterfront, the room had excellent heating (a real bonus after three hours of rain), and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, yet the outdoor terraces were littered with bird droppings everywhere, and the breakfast and dinner selections were limited (though we didn’t try them).

The place was well situated and affordable, but there was no staff available 24 hours and the TV didn’t work.
