A charming little house in a convenient spot, but the steep stairs to the bedroom and the lack of coffee or sugar in the room were annoying.

Everything we needed was well supplied, the décor was beautiful and quaint, and the owners were amazing, kind and welcoming. The place was clean and well maintained, with no complaints at all.

“Wouldn’t do again”

I found the place pretty cute, but the ladder to reach the bedroom and another ladder to get to the bathroom made everything feel quite inconvenient.

This cottage was gorgeous, the swing seat was delightful, the bed was wonderfully firm, and I really appreciated the eco‑friendly products.

The cottage itself was charming, yet I had requested an early check‑in well ahead of time and the owner said they’d confirm closer to the day, which I understood; I also wanted a sofa bed made up, but neither was prepared. The owner was away and a friendly couple were watching the place, but they didn’t relay the sofa‑bed request, and when we found out the sofa bed lacked a duvet it was too late to ask for help, so one of us slept cold. The cottage also needed a thorough deep or spring clean, as it was grubby in spots, including under the pull‑out bed and on it, and my partner noted the same.
