This guesthouse offers good value, but it has a serious problem: there are lots of mosquitoes and tiny bugs in the bed that cause itchy skin, which is unbearable. Everything else is perfect. My only two issues are the mosquitoes and bugs, plus the hard‑to‑find location— all the lively spots are in the opposite direction.

This charming boutique hotel showcases traditional Thai wooden architecture, a welcome break from the usual concrete, soulless hotels, and radiates Thai charm. The room was large, and we stayed in an end unit with a spacious lanai. The staff were excellent, especially Mai, and the owner, who lives on the property, was very helpful. They offered to drive you into the city in a nice Toyota sedan at the top of the hour upon request, a feature we greatly appreciated. Breakfast was also very good. The hotel is close to ancient temple ruins, just a 7‑minute walk away, and next to a temple that rings chimes early in the morning—a beautiful way to start the day. I thought the value was excellent. I would have given a 9, but our toilet was broken for all six nights we stayed, so we had to use the pool bathrooms on the ground floor. The pool was small but acceptable, though it had too much chlorine. I’d probably stay again unless I really wanted to be inside the Old City.

The breakfast was fantastic—fresh, made to order, delicious, and served with genuine warmth and care. The owners and staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to keep us comfortable and make the stay memorable. We appreciated the early check‑in, the train station pick‑up, and the one‑way drop‑off into the city, all of which were very helpful. The property is simple and homely yet charming—a true home away from home. We’ll definitely return!
