The studio includes a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave for food preparation. It features a large double bed that sleeps two, with a crib available upon request. A private bathroom provides a shower, and the air‑conditioned space offers a flat‑screen TV with streaming services.

The size of the room was fine. I liked that it had a mini kitchen area. The bathroom was pretty small and could be updated. I am almost certain that the worker stole my credit card. I gave it to him for payment and then he acted like he didn’t have it and I didn’t give it to him. He had all 3 of the people I was with search every inch of the place. I was very adamant about knowing I gave it to him and had stated I was canceling card. We went to room. About 5-10 minutes later the guy appeared and miraculously found my card on the counter. I know that isn’t true. He got nervous after my reaction to the situation

We ended up staying at the Noth Beach hotel, part of the same chain just a couple of blocks from Winterset. It’s a very nice spot a block from the beach, everything was spotless and comfortable, and we’ll definitely return.

The location was close to the beach, but we had no hot water in the room. No one ever showed up in the office, and we had to stand outside in the heat for almost 30 minutes to check in, even after calling the property to let them know we were waiting.

The air‑conditioning unit in our room was broken, so they moved us to a sister hotel, which worked out fine. The staff were kind and helpful even during a busy spring‑break weekend.
