The setting is just gorgeous: tucked among trees, blooming shrubs and even a few chickens, the historic castle feels like a true nature retreat. It’s a perfect spot to relax, though getting there is a hassle if you rely on public transport.

Pichlschloss sits in the middle of lush greenery and the rooms are set up with a lot of love. The staff are warm, the owner clearly cares about guests, breakfast is generous and the restaurant serves delicious, homemade regional dishes – a real place to unwind. I loved my stay and would gladly return when the chance comes.
