The scenery was wonderful, and the hotel and interiors were beautiful. The restaurants, however, should focus more on the region and tailor their menu accordingly; serving “sunny Italian shores” cuisine on a terrace overlooking an Austrian lake feels off.

The location was stunning among the places I’ve visited; it’s far enough to require a taxi or car hire, but it’s worth every trip! I recommend staying for a few days.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. Service and breakfast are first class. As in every 5‑star hotel, minibar and drinks are overpriced.

Everything – the view, the location, the room, the food, the staff – was great. The only downside was that hot water stopped working once, and the maintenance team was slow to fix it.

The location, the rooms and the style were all good. On the downside, most of the service staff didn't speak German, which is a bit surprising in Salzkammergut. The flexibility was lacking. The weather at the end of September was very warm, so the lakeside terrace was used by several guests. After asking multiple times, the staff couldn't bring towels. I would have expected more from a hotel of this category.
