A quiet countryside setting. The locals are calm. The pillows are soft and the sleep was excellent. In the morning, the sun is bright and the sky is clear. We did not have breakfast. The host speaks English. I would have liked a kettle for tea. On Monday, nothing is open in Italy – it would have been helpful to be reminded or informed about that.

Gianluca and Sara are simply incredibly kind and helpful. The property offers a spectacular view of the valley and mountains, and waking up to such a panorama alone is priceless; their kindness, cleanliness, and availability add extra value to the stay. I suggest booking breakfast – they’ll serve typical Abruzzese products that are mouth‑watering, plus local items like pasture‑flavored yogurt! Around the area you’ll find great restaurants affiliated with the hotel, and you can even start a hike right from there if you want to leave the car behind for a while. Bonus: in just two days we saw about 15 deer!
