They were happy to let me check out late and even accepted a late booking, but the sliding door didn’t lock, there were no complimentary toiletries, and the shower looked unsafe.

The business district is great and the area is very quiet, but the kitchen stove had cockroaches, the linen on the bed smelled awful, and the unit ran out of electricity. I stayed late because we had driven 14+ hours from Pretoria to PE, and the worst part was waking up to maintenance in the morning to fix something. I’m really disappointed and it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I never actually visited the property, but the host asked me to cancel and get a full refund at the last minute because I mentioned I had two children.
