The food and the owner’s attention were fantastic. The accommodation is basic, but perfectly integrated into nature. For those who want something different, outside the conventional tourist circuits. Don’t expect hotel‑level comfort, but the charm of the place more than makes up for it.

This is the perfect place. An island of mangroves and coral with no cars and a welcoming community. Ismael and his uncle have made the perfect place to stay. Simple clean cabins with your own beach and jetty. We walked and snorkeled. Saw freshly planted corals and beautiful birds. I recommend it.

The lodging is rustic but has everything needed for a good stay. You’ll be fully immersed! The hosts are also very friendly and very responsive. Ismail came to pick us up at Shimoni and Feisal helped us inflate our tire before leaving. Thank you very much to them! We also did a great safari at Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park. Finally we ate extremely well! It’s the best restaurant we’ve had in two weeks of travel. Kudos to the chef!

We would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet spot in nature to relax. It was a wonderful glamping-style experience and Ismail was such a pleasant and easygoing host. The food we had was all fresh and tasty, and we would stay here again. Beautiful and special location, even if the weather wasn’t on our side while there, we still really enjoyed this hideaway. Asante Ismail!
