The location was great, just a short walk into the shopping street. The room was fine, but the bathroom lacked hanging options for clothes and towels and the exhaust fan didn’t work. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the dinner menu was adequate and the food tasted good. The price‑quality ratio is solid. The bathroom facilities were lacking.
“Ausreichend für einen Kurzurlaub”
Central location, friendly reception, a small drink fridge in the hallway for self‑service. Breakfast was rather sparse: no cereal rolls or bread, no tomato or cucumber, no fruit. It might have been better if the price was higher. The bell rang every fifteen minutes, even at night, which is tough for light sleepers, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.
The location was right in the middle of the city, cheap. The place was very old-fashioned. The breakfast was bland. For one or two nights it was okay if you have low expectations and want to stay cheaply.
During my stay a city festival was happening, which wasn’t communicated. The parking situation and the quiet after 10 pm were made harder, though the hotel did help with parking. Ultimately these are factors the hotel can’t control, so I still recommend it.
The owners were very friendly and helpful, assisted me with the stairs, and someone was always available for help. Breakfast ran from 7 am to 10 am; if you need anything, just ask—iron, etc. They even took me to the train station on my last day without being asked. Excellent internet, absolutely lovely food for the money on evening meals, I couldn’t finish. There’s a fridge with drinks in the room area with bottles of beer or cola; you pay 250 € the next day or when you leave. I had no bad experiences; generally it smells of cooking up the stairs. There are bells from the church and a building across the way that play a tune in the early evening, not at late night.
