The location was calm even though it’s close to Ubud’s center and pedestrian streets. The bathroom was very old, a door that wouldn’t close properly, a handle that wouldn’t hold, a faucet that was defective and limescale‑covered, and the bathtub and toilet were heavily limescale‑stained. Maintenance was lacking… it needed a proper refresh. It’s a shame because the place feels authentic and the gardens are very pretty!

The pool, location, and staff were positives. The cleaning was lacking, breakfast was a bit limited but okay, and the room furniture needs a full overhaul.
