The location and the room were brand new. I didn’t like that there was no one at reception to greet me; a cleaning staff member handed me the key, and when I handed it back they asked for my ID.

I had a great stay, just no hot water at first, but it was fixed. The bed was worn out and you could feel the heavy use.

The location was excellent and the rooms were quiet. The only downside was the lack of a place to hang things.

The room size and furniture quality were impressive, and having parking available is a big plus in San Miguel de Allende. I did miss having a mini‑fridge.
