“Great for solo travellers”

The place is within a 10‑minute walk of the metro station, and the room was spotless. It’s small but perfect for solo travelers, featuring a private bathroom with a lock, storage, air‑conditioning, and a fridge. The location works well for public transport, and you’re only an 11‑minute walk to the zoo and a 9‑minute walk to a supermarket. I stayed for five days and would recommend it to solo travelers. The bed, though a decent size, was hard and lumpy, making it hard to sleep because the lumpy parts dug into my ribs. There were also a few stains on the pillows; adding a soft thick mattress topper would solve this problem.

The hostel is very well structured, clean, and organized. The reception is in a different location, and moving around with many bags is a bit difficult even though the location isn’t far.

The building offers everything you need, including a kitchen and a laundry room (both paid). You get AC, a mini fridge, and your own bathroom, and the reception building has a pool you can use anytime. The room was smaller than expected, and sometimes it took a while to get a response from staff. Check‑in could be faster if they told you to meet at the reception place, which is not the same as the building where you sleep; fortunately it’s only two blocks away.

“Curta mas tranquila”

There weren’t many open spaces for breakfast, only the Pingo Doce. The water system in the shower required a button to release water, and it would only flow for about two minutes at a time.

The staff were very friendly, especially the reception man. The room was not what it seemed: a basement with very little light. Cleaning was lacking, with small stains on the sheets and towels, and there were hairs in the bathroom. The shower had a button that ran out quickly, making it uncomfortable to shower. The mattress had very pronounced springs and the pillows were terrible, making it impossible to sleep. After the first night we had to leave because of the discomfort. I do not recommend it.
