It was pleasant, not lavish but definitely sufficient. We took suite 29, there was no elevator in the hotel, and the room was on the third floor.

The place is very charming, with a beautiful garden at the entrance and tasteful decor, and the breakfast was good. There were stairs, but fortunately the receptionist brought my luggage to the room, and I didn't notice the lack of an elevator.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff lovely, the location great, tucked away in a gorgeous garden, and it's just lovely to return every evening.

It’s a beautiful hotel with lots of character and beautiful decor throughout. The staff were all excellent—very welcoming and always on top of everything. We loved the restaurant areas, both outside and inside, and the small seating area outside was perfect for retiring after a day in the city. We also liked the indoor sitting room. The bedrooms are small, not a problem but something to be aware of.
