The place is peaceful, a bit out of town from Puttalam’s center, yet very cozy and pleasant. The owners are wonderful people, always ready to do whatever it takes—sometimes even the impossible—to satisfy guests.

It looks nice, but a few small clean‑up items are needed. Outside the entrance, the water isn’t good, and a new hot‑water shower is required.

Neel, our host, really cared for us, spending five hours with us in the hospital after my friend broke her leg.

The grounds beside the church are nice, the family bed is comfortable with good AC, but the mosquito problem in the room was terrible—had to squash about 30, yet they kept coming, so I gave up. A mosquito‑killing lamp or electric tennis racket would help, and there’s no hot shower.
