The location was fine, but the room left something to be desired.

“Excellent staff and location.”

The spot was convenient, but it’s hard for older guests because there are many stairs and no elevators.

The location was excellent, the bed was very comfortable after a long trip, the staff were lovely, and everything was spotless; there was a microwave, a mini‑fridge, and a hair dryer—nice extras if you stay longer. The noise from other rooms was a bit audible, the walls were thin but not too bothersome, and the hostel had two sites—our room was in the second one, so we had to walk a bit. It would help if they told you which site you were getting.

“Great location, but the room was quite small and had a noticeable cigarette smell.”

The spot is spot-on, right around the corner of Gran Via and Plaza de Callao, super central and easy to wander around. The layout felt a bit odd, though – the hostel sits in a mixed‑use building and the room was just one of a string of rooms in a hallway. We had three beds, a fridge, a microwave and a tiny closet, so it was pretty cramped, and there was a strong cigarette smell that made it unpleasant. The bathroom looked freshly renovated, but I wasn’t sure what I’d expect since it was my first hostel stay. All in all, it was an interesting experience.
