“Great hosts, perfect location, value for money!”
I was greeted by warm hosts who handed me a fresh juice at 5am and let me drop off my luggage a few hours before check‑in. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a lovely balcony that I used often. Wi‑Fi was strong, the place was peaceful and quiet, and it’s only a few hundred meters from the sea, the beach, the town, and the nearby town of Aluthgama, all walkable. The train station is close, but you don’t hear the trains, which is great for carrying bulky luggage. I’d highly recommend it. The only drawback was the weak shower pressure and the fact that the shower sits right next to the toilet without a curtain or cabin, so the whole bathroom floor gets wet after you’re done. I’ve learned that’s just how it is in Sri Lanka; I’ve stayed in several places and it’s always the same.

We stayed here for two nights. The location is great—just a 5‑minute walk to the sea and a 5‑minute walk to the center. The room was clean, and the lady cleaned it every day. Breakfast was good.
It was a space where I could truly relax. Close to the beach, restaurants, and the train. My host Dilani was attentive and generous. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. Breakfast was fabulous! Private, quiet, highly recommend.

Dliani, the host, was delightful, well‑mannered, charming, and helpful, speaking excellent English. She cleaned the room every day and was very attentive to my needs. The neighborhood had a family vibe, the property was quiet, yet easy to walk to the main road, the ATM at the police station, the train station, and various cafes and restaurants.
