Nada. An enormous spider appeared in the room, the place looks abandoned, in terrible condition, super dirty, I don’t recommend it at all, it doesn’t look like what’s shown in the app, don’t stay.

The sheets were clean. No Wi‑Fi and they charged me $300 for air conditioning.

I chose this because it’s close to the place I was going to. The facilities are very old and the mattress is uncomfortable.

The spot’s location is great, everything’s close and the central beaches look gorgeous. The people in Melaque are warm and friendly. The hotel itself was dirty, the beds were sagging, the linens were extremely old, and there were huge cockroaches. While it’s understandable that 90% nature means iguanas and squirrels, the hallways leading from the pool to the rooms were covered in excrement; I arrived on a Friday and left on a Wednesday, yet the mess only increased. The bathroom is split in half by a fence—half a bathroom, half a shower—there’s no door, so you get soaked everywhere. I can’t recommend this place at all, not even calling it a hotel. The only redeeming factor is that the manager tries to help you with everything. I stayed 5 nights because it was non‑refundable, but it’s zero recommendation.
