“Prachtige plek, super vriendelijke mensen”
A gorgeous spot, super friendly people.
The location is good. The service was poor and the food expensive because there were no alternatives.

We booked a five‑night stay but were bitten by ants in our bed the first night, then moved to another room that had rats at night. They offered a different room and only gave us a partial refund when we insisted, keeping a $50 commission. The place is isolated, run‑down, the river beach is littered with rubble, and there’s slippery slime growing around the pool. The swimming pool was just okay.

Wonderful location by the water, with mangrove forests. You can paddle a kayak along there.

The staff were welcoming and the kayaking was free, which we enjoyed a lot. The view was amazing. I understand that visiting Cambodia at the end of the rainy season is a bit daring, but… the whole room smelled damp and moldy, the bathroom had a sewage odor, and the A/C also had a mold smell. Even though it worked all night, we and all our belongings stayed damp. The bed sheets smelled bad and were stained. Ants were everywhere in the room. The mattress was awful; I’ve never seen such an uncomfortable mattress during my stay in Cambodia. The price was high and it completely disappointed us.
