50 m² · 1 double bed
I found the hotel on Naver and chose it for its slightly out‑of‑town location with sea view, just to unwind. By the way, the taxi from the bus terminal to the hotel costs 6‑7€, which is affordable even for solo travelers. I bought groceries beforehand because I knew there were no shops on site. Walking takes 20‑25 minutes, which is acceptable. The room matched the pictures exactly and, unlike rooms in Seoul, it was huge 😃 The room was clean, the mattress was fine, and I slept very well. Nearby is a small hill you can climb for a fantastic view over several coves. But waking up every morning with a view of the little harbor made me very happy. Thanks a lot!!
“Prijs kwaliteit was erg goed, aardige eigenaren”
It was close to the city but still pleasantly quiet. In the morning, the owner gave me coffee and we sat outside, enjoying the view.
“I wish I had stayed longer.”
The room matched the photos exactly and was very comfortable with plenty of facilities. The spa bath was great. The location is particularly beautiful. The bed was comfortable. I wish I had stayed more than one night. The only issue was that it was a bit hard to find because the building isn’t named the same as the hotel; the building is called Tongyeong Matisse Beach pension.
“다시 오고 싶어요”
Clean and the amenities were good. The downside is there are no restaurants nearby, so you have to go into town. Still, it’s only about a 5‑minute walk?
The apartment was spacious and comfortable. A large window looked out onto the harbor and bay, which was very nice. However, there’s no option to shop nearby. No restaurant is close, and the bus stop that sees frequent buses is about a 25‑minute walk. If you take the shorter route, it’s a 10‑12 minute trek through a lonely forest, steep. The longer route along the sea goes through an industrial area. There’s a closer bus stop, but buses run very rarely. As a solo traveler I wouldn’t return, but as a couple with a car it’s doable. Just be prepared that around 5:30 am it gets a bit louder—maybe only on weekends, I can’t say for sure, since then the fishing boats come and suddenly many cars appear, probably buying fish, but I couldn’t tell from my window. Then it gets louder.
