Everything was great and beautiful, just a small parking spot for cars at the hotel. We had a nasty incident, first time in many travels. On the hotel parking, a road sign was put on our car, the courtyards on both sides were lifted and someone left a note. Even though hotel spots aren’t reserved and the reception staff let us park there, after the incident they promised to call and clarify, but no one did. The staff were embarrassed by the situation and offered compensation, which we declined. Everything else at the hotel was fine until that point. Unfortunately, an unpleasant taste remained after the stay.

Nicely located hotel with nice rooms and balconies offering a good view from the higher floors, good breakfast and friendly staff, but it feels dated.

Central location allows walking around the city; parking in front of the hotel on blue lines is free in the evening/night. Reception and breakfast staff are very kind and helpful. The room is clean, spacious and equipped with everything expected from a hotel of this level. For Gorizia, this is my reference hotel.
